How do I join?
amigos.place is invite-only. You need an invitation link from someone already in the network. If you don't have one, join the waitlist below and we'll connect you when possible.
Is it really free?
Yes. There are no booking fees or commissions. Hosts can optionally set a "friend price" or ask for a small favor (like cooking dinner), but many stays are completely free.
How is this different from Couchsurfing?
amigos.place is invite-only — every member is connected to someone you know. There are no anonymous profiles. Think of it as Calendly for your couch, shared only within your trusted circle.
What if I only want to travel, not host?
That's fine! You can join as a guest only. But the network works best when everyone contributes — even a sofa or air mattress counts.
Is it safe?
Every member is vouched for by someone in the network. You can see who invited whom, mark close friends, and only share your availability with people you trust. You always have the final say on who stays at your place.
